Sơ chế các nguyên liệu: Cà chua bạn cắt phần 4 hoặc phần 8. Hành ngò cắt nhỏ. Trứng đập ra tô và đánh đều, không cần nêm.
Bắt nồi nhỏ và đổ 1 ít dầu ăn vào.Đợi khi dầu nóng,bạn đổ tỏi và để khử dầu. Đến khi tỏi đã vàng,bạn cho thịt băm và cà chua vào xào (để lửa vừa để không bị cháy). Nêm hạt nêm và nước mắm trong lúc xào.
Đến khi thịt tái và cà chua đã mềm, bạn đổ nước vào sao cho vừa với khẩu phần của gia đình. Để lửa lớn để nước nhanh sôi.
Khi nước đã sôi, đổ tô trứng vào,chỉnh lửa nhỏ lại và đợi tầm 30 giây cho trứng chín. Lúc đổ trứng vào không nên khuấy lên (vì trứng sẽ bị vỡ ra nhìn rất ngán).
Sau khi trứng chín thì bạn nêm lại cho vừa ăn và cho hành ngò, tiêu vào.
