I really don't understand the bad reviews for this product, only thing I can think of is that they're all seafood snobs who expect frozen boxed salmon to taste exactly like fresh, right off the boat salmon. Insert eye roll here. I HATE cooking salmon, I hate the smell, touching it, dealing with slicing it and having to pick out missed bones, just everything. Last time I bought a pound of it at my local grocery store I gave up halfway through trying to prepare it, I was gagging (yeah, weak stomach here). However it's really good for me and I want to eat it, so I knew there had to be an easier way that wasn't stupidly expensive. This is perfect. 2 fillets come in the box, which makes 4 meals for me since I have other protein with my meals as well. I make one at a time and keep the other frozen until I want to cook it. It's ridiculously easy, you just open the pack, sprinkle the topping on, and wrap it up (with the INCLUDED foil!) and bake. It's foolproof, the box has complete instructions inside. The only thing I find slightly iffy is the cooking times, it says 350 for 15 mins or something, but I find it's much better to do 450 for around 11 mins. It tastes great, sure it's not the absolute best salmon I've ever had, but for pre-prepared frozen fillets that require no hassle at all, I'm very happy. This product is a saving grace for me, I can avoid the worst parts of eating salmon and just get the good, cooked final product.

Bravo on a terrific product that is reasonably priced (in fact, it is inexpensive in comparison to similar options on the market), very tasty, and very easy to prepare based on the very clear and informative instructions that are provided with the meal. I have used a number of the nationally-branded meal preparation delivery services and the quality/price of this product is superior. I had the wild Alaskan salmon with Meyer lemon and herb panko for dinner last night and it was terrific - the fish is very fresh, the ingredients are prepared and provided in a way that is both informative and very tasty, and the portion size is perfect for two people. It would also be perfect for dinner on one night and as a "leftover" meal for lunch or dinner the following day. The nutritional breakdown is excellent given how much food is provided in the meal preparation kit. Everything that you need is included in the box, down to the aluminum foil needed for the oven. Amazon Fresh delivery is very convenient, and the meal can be prepared in twenty minutes or so WITH preparation (very little) and cooking time. Overall, a truly fantastic product that I highly recommend that you try for yourself. I look forward to trying the other fishpeople products very soon!

So delicious, so easy to prepare, everything you need for a high quality delicious dish is provided. I am not a big consumer of frozen food, but this product will be a staple in my freezer. The fish tastes fresh, the quality of all of the ingredients is great, and the end result makes you feel like a gourmet chef. YUM! The fish is the star here, but my hat is off to all the people at Fishpeople. From the fisherfolk, to the packers, the quality control, the geniuses in product development, you all deserve 5 stars! And this is sustainably caught. Delicious and healthy AND good for the fisheries.
